Just "Ducky"

Hi there!  Today we enjoyed wearing our matching Duck, NC shirts from Ma Mac and Aunt Kate.

 

 

This is from when I was up North with Mom.  I was helping Papa fish.  We had this picture on another camera.

 

 

This is from playgroup!  We really enjoyed attending a playgroup all summer, which met once a week at a different park.  We loved experiencing new parks each week and playing with a bunch of really sweet kids!  We will miss them.

 

Last night was Mom's cousin's wedding reception.  Mom and Dad left us at home, and we had a blast with our sitter Annette.

 

Here's the groom... Mom's cousin Ryan.

 

We are getting ready for the hustle and bustle of the school year.  We're sure many of you are as well.  Best of luck with the upcoming year!

Ma Mac and Aunt Kate's Visit

Hello again!  We're excited to share some more pictures and videos with you!  Here I am making cookies with Mom.  I have stopped taking a nap to prepare for the upcoming school year where I will have a full day that doesn't allow time for a nap!

You can't live in the "Cheesehead State" and not go to the state fair.  We only went for a few hours, but enjoyed every minute!  We saw chickens...

tractors...

goats...

and even racing piggies!  After the race, we went down the big pig slide!

We saw other animals, too, like horses, more pigs, camels, rabbits, chicks, geese, ducks, and cows.  Check out how big this tractor wheel was!

Ma Mac and Aunt Kate arrived last Sunday.  We were thrilled to have them visit!

Ma Mac made me a beautiful dress and even hair ties to match!  Here I am trying on my new dress.

She also made me a handsome vest and Mom a beautiful piece that goes on her neck.  It was sparkly and very pretty!



As always, the visit went way too fast and we were sad to see Ma Mac and Aunt Kate go.

Daddy took me to the zoo on Friday.  Jackson got to go to Mommy's school to help her set up the classroom.  I really like the lions at the zoo.

I also really like to ride the ponies!

 

We've been trying several times to upload some great videos, but they will have to wait as they are not working right now.

Girls' Weekend Up North

Hello again.  Here are some pictures of my Girls' Weekend with Mom up north.  I showed no fear going in the lake.

When it was cloudy, we decided to find some fun in town.  We found a bouncy house...

and then it was off to feed the goats with my Papa.

I even got to ride a pony thanks to my Nana's student!  Thank you!

Whenever the sun came out, it was boat time!

We enjoyed spotting loons.

A very Happy Birthday to our Nana on August 2nd!  We had fun surprising her with arriving a day early!

Our countdown was the number of days until special visitors arrived.  Our special visitors arrived todaylast Sunday!  Ma Mac and Aunt Kate are spent a few days with us and we couldn't have been more excited!  We will post some pictures on our next blog update.

Feeding the Giraffes

Our summer adventures continue!  We played at the Mulloys not too long ago and had fun "dressing up."

Then it was off to the park to ride bikes and play.

We decided to go to the zoo as a family a couple weekends ago.  We sure do put our zoo pass to good use!



We did something we'd never done before at the zoo... we fed the giraffes!

After the giraffes, it was off to the dinosaurs.

I rode a pony for the first time!
