February Already?!?

Can you believe tomorrow is going to be February? We think time is flying! Dad says wait until the baby is here - it will go even faster. I picked out my valentines this weekend - Mickey Mouse Club, of course. Mom and Dad tried to get a valentines picture today, but as you can see, they were pretty unsuccessful. I just wasn't in the "sit still" mood.

When Mom came in to get me this morning when I woke up, the sun was just rising. It was very pretty! Here's the view from my window.

Do you see the gel clings on my window? We put them up for a Valentines decoration!

Not a whole lot of news to share this week. I continue to love reading books, but my absolute favorite thing to do is play with Dad. We have so much fun together.

I like to color, too. Mom and Dad keep giving me all sorts of food and it depends on the day if I like it or not. I do enjoy fish sticks every now and then. I like pizza, too. Just like Mom, my favorite meal of the day is breakfast. Daddy cooked us breakfast this morning - yum!

Mom and Dad have decided to go to the UCONN Michigan game in September. Nana and Papa said they would babysit. Dad is real excited to go to the game. I wanted to go, but they said maybe next time.

Speaking of breakfast, here is a picture of last week that Dad took when I was enjoying a yummy breakfast before going to Robyn's. Robyn found out she is having a boy in June! We are so happy for her and excited to have another boy at daycare! My sissy won't be alone, though. There are a couple baby girls that will be going there, too.

Tiger Cubs at the Zoo

Greetings from Waukesha, Wisconsin! Do you know almost all of our snow is melted? It has been rainy this weekend, so the snow is going away pretty fast. I am hoping that means we are one step closer to spring - which means a lot more outdoor time! Mom and Dad assured me there is plenty of winter left and to not get my hopes up. I told them I am the parade - and they're the rain.

Here I am relaxing on Mom and Dad's bed - Dad was hogging the TV and watching football, and although I don't mind it for awhile, I was itching for some real TV (Mickey Mouse Club).

Mya, my sitter's daughter, had the flu earlier this week, so I stayed home with Mom on Monday. Dad stayed home with me Tuesday and guess what?!? He took me to the zoo!

I don't know if you can tell or not, but there are two tiger cubs in the background. It was so fun watching them play like Ace and Iso, but MUCH bigger of course. It will be a lot of fun to go to the zoo this summer and show my sissy all the animals. Before long I will be pushing her in the stroller all around just like Auntie Kady did with Uncle Mike and Uncle Pete.

On Friday my favorite sitter Emily came over so Mom and Dad could go to Papa's retirement party in Milwaukee. I had so much fun with Emily. Mom and Dad had a really nice time at Papa's party, too. Congratulations, again, Papa! See you in a couple weeks when Dad goes to Florida.

On Saturday, Nana and Papa stopped over. They showed us pictures from their cruise along Mexico. It looks like a fun way to vacation! They bought me cool swim trunks as a souvenir. Thank you SO much Nana and Papa. Mom and Dad said I'll get a lot of use out of those this summer when I get my baby pool.

Lots of PINK!

Hi there! Dad took this picture of me today. We had a "boys day" so Mom could work on a paper for grad school. The weather is mild for this time of year, so it's nice to get outside!

Mom took some pictures of my room to show you. Unfortunately our "before" picture was on the realtor's site, so we can't save it and post it here. You might remember that before the walls were white with navy blue sponge paint.

Mom and Dad painted it the solid light blue. It matches my sports quilt that will be going on my big boy bed. We have some more things to hang, but are waiting until I am out of the crib and in my big boy bed. Mom and Dad also painted the basement! It looks really nice and we'll post some pictures once we have it decorated.

Did you notice the best part of my "new" room? The toy bins in my closet! Here's a close-up.

I really like to help clean up now, and with these bins, I can put the toys away. My sitter Robyn has bins like this, too, so I am used to putting things away in them.

Speaking of closets, Mom has been putting an awful lot of pink clothes in the upstairs closet. Remember my friend Elliott? Well her mom is having a baby boy at the end of February. Since Mom is having a baby girl in March, they traded clothes! As long as the pink stays upstairs, I'm happy. I prefer blue myself.

Other than that, we do not have much news to report. Mom and Dad do keep talking about the "terrible twos" in our house, so I guess Ace and Iso have been bad lately. I haven't really noticed, but that's the only "two" I can think of.

A very happy birthday goes out to my Great-Grandma Mary. Hope you enjoyed your special day! Nana and Papa are back from their cruise and we'll see them next weekend at Papa's retirement party. Thank you Uncle Bill for your Raiders outfit and bib. Mom wasn't mad because there was a Bears bib, too. We'll take pictures of me wearing it real soon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those that have been affected by the earthquake in Haiti. I don't really understand what is going on, but Mom and Dad tell me I am blessed and should be thankful for all we have.

Dad took a video today, too, of me walking up and down the sidewalk. Nothing makes me more happy than being outside.

Hi there! Today was our first day back on our routine. I did pretty well all things considered. I do already miss those lazy days with Mom and Dad though.


In this picture, Mom gave me a bit of her cool whip on her chocolate pie that she made for New Year's Eve. It was yummy! I don't get sweets very much. Mom says it's because I am so sweet already!















On Saturday UCONN defeated South Carolina in the Papa Johns.com Bowl. Even though they weren't picked to win, they did! Dad was thrilled. It helped him feel better after his favorite hockey team, the Flyers, lost in overtime on Friday.














Here I am being lazy. I was trying to wake up after my nap. Dad put cartoons on and I just love to lay on the couch every now and then and watch cartoons. It's a special treat. Notice I don't have socks on. I do not like to keep my socks or shoes on at all.

Here are some warm jammies Grandma Mac sent me. It has been very cold here, so these keep me cozy at night. They are really soft and snuggly. Thank you, Grandma!

I love when Dad reads to me - he makes the best animal sounds. One of my favorite books is The Wheels on the Bus. I like to point to the cows and say, "E - Moo." Another one of my new favorite books is a book Aunt Audrey, Uncle David, and cousins Isabella and Cohen got me for Christmas. It shows you real pictures of animals and then makes the actual sounds of the animals! At first I would cry every time the rooster cockadoodle doo-d because it was scary, but I am getting used to it now. I ask Mom and Dad to read this book to me every day. Thanks for that great book Aunt Audrey and Uncle David!

On this video I am playing with my own remote. Every time Oscar the Grouch makes sounds, it cracks me up!

A BIG congratulations goes out to my Papa. After 34 years with the same company, he has decided to retire. He can spend more time ice fishing now and finishing the basement in his house. I can't wait to go ice fishing with him once I am a little older. Congratulations, Papa! Now you can stay in your jammies late and watch cartoons!
