Update

This post has been a long time coming!  Let us update you on what we've been up to.
This picture is from our first day of school.  We love school and all the teachers are like our second family.  We really enjoy going to school together.  I am in 4-year-old preschool and 4K and Kendall attends a 3-year-old room, even though she's 2 1/2.  She is doing very well and loves school!
With Mom's work schedule this year, Dad has become "Mr. Mom" at times.  He even let us have a "picnic" in the basement one weekend!  We are so, so lucky to have Daddy!

We cherish our family time, and often count the days until our next "family day."  One fall weekend, we tried Apple Fest for the first time in Waukesha.

The best part of Apple Fest was the apple pie, but the games were really fun, too!  We also got a kick out of our balloon animals.

Fall to us means one important thing (besides going back to school)... HALLOWEEN!  Here we were trying on our costumes in preparation for the big day.

Attending the same school has some perks.  We had the same picture today and they took pictures of us together.  I love to dress up and look like Dad.  Kendall loved wearing the dress Ma Mac made her.

Being home alone with Dad when Mom is working means... fun!  One weekend we decided to try on Dad's helmets!  So fun!

For another "Family Day" this fall, we went to a farm that lets you pet the animals.  We met Ellie and Gavin and their cousin Allison there, too.  What a blast we had!  Kendall's favorite part was holding a kitten that snuggled in her arms and went to sleep.  She did not want to let it go!

Here we are petting a deer at the farm.
We even rode ponies.  It was my second time only... I was very brave!  Kendall loves to ride ponies.

At the farm, we took a hay ride to pick out pumpkins.

Nana and Papa came to visit, too.  We swam at their hotel and went out to eat!

Finally, Halloween was here.  Mom spent the day with us at school.  This was Kendall's old class that she attended before she moved into the 3-year-old room.  Can you spot her?

Here we are ready to leave for trick-or-treat!

One of our most recent "Family Day" outings was to Train Fest.  Our favorite trains were the ones that went around the Christmas trees and the ones we could actually touch.

Kendall had a Thanksgiving program at school.  First her class sang some songs, then we had a yummy feast!

Now that Halloween is over, and it's Thanksgiving, we are already thinking about Christmas.  We enjoyed the Waukesha Christmas parade last weekend.  Aunt Audrey, Cohen, and Isabella joined us, too!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Love,
Jackson

Kendall
