Happy 4th Birthday, Jackson!

Summer is here!  We will be better about keeping up on our blog posts now!  Let us update you... first and foremost... my birthday!
Spider Man was the theme.  What a wonderful way to wake up... with a table full of presents!

We decided to celebrate it on the big day, which fell on a Thursday.  My friend Ben was able to join us for pizza and cupcakes before going to the waterpark.

The waterpark was amazing!  Ellie and Gavin were able to join us, too.  It worked out perfect to go during the week in the evening because there were not many people there.  We had an absolute blast!  I think the adults enjoyed it more than the kids. :)

Somebody thought it would be funny to get me a Brewer's hat... Mom did not.

Check out my new jersey!  This used to be Vincent Jackson's jersey and Uncle Bill has been trying to get this for awhile!

We went to the parade on Memorial Day.  My favorite part was the drums.  Sissy said that was her favorite part, too.

It was a hot, hot day, so we played in the sprinkler and baby pool.

Our cousin Cohen's birthday was two days before my brother's.  He had a birthday party at a gymnastics place.  What fun it was!  I am so excited to start gymnastics this Wednesday!

Here's our first day of summer vacation!

We had Miss Katie and her fiance Russ over one last time.  They are moving to Colorado.  We will miss them so, so much.

Did you know I have a big girl bed now?  I am enjoying my freedom to the fullest and actually took my nap on the floor today.  I guess I am quite the stinker.

We are so excited that it is summer.  We will be going to the zoo tomorrow for a zoo class for Sissy and me.  I am going to learn all about Polar Bears and Kendall will be doing something with the carousel.  We will keep you updated on all our fun summer adventures!

We have some videos to share, but they were not working correctly tonight.  We will try again soon.

Happy Memorial Day!

Hello!  Happy holiday weekend!  We are starting off the weekend with a bang!  First, this morning, we changed our beds a bit.  Now that I am going to be 4 soon, Mom and Dad said I can sleep on the top bunk!  I am so excited about this (that I could hardly nap)!
And I, Kendall, also have a new bed.  That's right!  I was bound and determined to not go to bed last night, so I jumped out of my crib... twice.  All of a sudden... today Dad took my gate off the crib and added a little railing.  Now I have a big girl bed (and I think my Mom and Dad have a headache). :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!  Dad had to work today, so we took Mom to the zoo!  We had so much fun.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch together.  We love watermelon!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.  The weather was gorgeous - there wasn't a cloud in the sky.  We were very patient while we waited for the train ride.

It was nearing our nap time, so we were getting snoozy on the train.

A while back we were taking care of butterfly larvae.  Well, finally the exciting day came and they came out of their cocoons as butterflies!  We set them free one warm evening a week ago.

I have been working on cutting with scissors and now that I've mastered it, I love cutting!  Sissy and I made a sun craft with Miss Katie.

Now that the weather has warmed up again, we are outside as much as possible... even when Dad is mowing!  We like to be his special helpers.

We found Elmo one day and couldn't resist...

Ellie and Gavin continue to come play usually once a week.  Chris, their dad, suprised us with McDonald's last week.  Thank you, Chris!  Yummy!
