Zoo and Visit with Nana and Papa

Mom, Kendall, and I went to the zoo a couple weekends ago. We met Elliott, her mom, and her brother there. It was so much fun! I especially love that I don't have to ride in the stroller - instead I can just walk and run around!

Speaking of Elliott... she and her family got me some cool sunglasses for my birthday! They also got me some sand and water toys. Thanks so much!

Besides wearing my new shades, I am really into trying on shoes.

Last weekend Nana and Papa were babysitting at Uncle David's and Aunt Audrey's, so we went to visit.

I really enjoyed playing with Cohen - especially when we played the organ together!

Then we thought instead of making music, we'd dance to some!

I always have so much fun with my cousins. I can't wait to spend some time with them around the 4th of July.

Kendall's Turn

Hey - it's finally my turn! I've been trying to tell Jackson he's not the only one anymore... and you know... he has taken the news very well. He said he's willing to share his blog from time to time. I know I am the 2nd child and all... but he needs to share the spotlight a little, don't you think?

These are just a few recent pictures of me. I am going to be 3 months old already next Friday!

I have to admit... I really do have an amazing big brother. This morning he snuggled up right beside me and we watched Mickey Mouse.

A short while later he was giving me kisses. I love him, too.

We went for a family walk today, which was nice. Mom is really excited that summer break has begun. We joined the Y and are looking forward to going there a lot.

Jackson can't wait to get on here to post pictures of going to the zoo. That will be coming soon!

Busy Busy Busy!

Hi hi! That's my new way of saying hello now. I say, "Hi" double-time. It's a busy time of year, isn't it? We're sorry we haven't shared all our wonderful news and pictures lately, but the blog has not been working very well.

I have been playing outside and enjoying the beautiful weather as much as I can.

Grandma Mac and Aunt Kate left this morning. It was so hard to say goodbye. Three weeks went by too fast! I felt better knowing they will be back at the beginning of September. Thank you SO much Grandma and Aunt Kate. We enjoyed your visit and company so much that the house just doesn't seem the same without you.

While Grandma and Aunt Kate were here, as you already know, we celebrated Kendall's baptism and my 2nd birthday, but we also got to celebrate Aunt Kate's birthday!

That was some yummy ice cream cake, wasn't it Aunt Kate! Mmmmmm mmmm!

These last couple pictures are Kendall's last "Itsy Bitsy Spider" with Grandma. She sang it to her everyday and she just loved it! She has begun to smile a lot and coo, too.

Thank you, again, Grandma and Aunt Kate for being so, so helpful. We miss you!

We will post more again very soon - hopefully tomorrow. I want to share my trip to the zoo with my friend Elliott and my visit with Nana and Papa this past evening. Plus Sissy has been anxious to have her turn on here.

Kendall's Baptism and Jackson's Birthday Party

Happy Memorial weekend everyone! We have been very busy. Last weekend was my sissy's baptism and we also celebrated my 2nd birthday. It was a fantastic party! "Auntie Nicole" flew in from Colorado to be Kendall's Godmother; Uncle Bill flew in from California to be Kendall's Godfather; Grandma Mac and Aunt Kate drove from New Jersey; Nana and Papa came; Uncle David and Aunt Audrey and Isabella and Cohen came; Great-Grandma Mary came (who Kendall is named after) and even Mom's Uncle Bill and Aunt Wanda were there. Thank you everyone for traveling to make the day truly special.

What was also special was Kendall's baptism gown. It has been in the Phelan family for 101 years!

Here I am enjoying my yummy chocolate Mickey Mouse birthday cake! The cookout after Kendall's baptism was so much fun. It was a very hot day, but we kept cool by running through a crazy sprinkler.

I got so many wonderful birthday gifts. Thank you very much everyone!

Today Mom and Dad set up a pool for me! We had a blast and it really helped to cool us off on a hot summer day.

Grandma Mac and Aunt Kate are here for two more weeks. They are taking care of Kendall during the day, and will be taking care of both of us the last week they are here. We have been so spoiled with all their help! Kendall has really begun to "talk," especially to Grandma.

Well, it's a big birthday week. My birthday is tomorrow and Aunt Kate's birthday is Tuesday! Uncle Bill's birthday is next Sunday. Happy birthday to everyone!

My sissy sure is getting bigger by the minute. She's 9 weeks old already!

Hello and a late Happy Mother's Day to all you amazing Mommies out there! Sorry we didn't get a chance to post last weekend. It was a very special weekend because Daddy graduated! We are so proud of him! Way to go Dad.

Mom was playing with her hair since she is getting baptized next weekend.

Do you know what else is next weekend? My birthday party! It is a really exciting weekend because a lot of family is going to be here! I can't wait!

A couple weeks ago I had a playdate at my cousin Cohen's. Let me tell you... he has some really cool toys. He even has a John Deer tractor that goes when you press the gas pedal! I loved it! Thanks for sharing all your toys with me Cohen! Can't wait to play with you this weekend.

We also played on the swingset.

Mom went back to work this week and Nana came to babysit. I love reading books with my Nana. I've started to say more words, too.

You might notice in the second video that I am wearing a Packers Aaron Rodgers jersey. Mom wanted to be sure to explain that Uncle Mike sent it to me... she did not buy it. :) Go Bears!

This last video is Kendall practicing her tummy time after her bath tonight. She's getting strong and tries to hold her head up a lot.

Beautiful Days

We have had a couple of windy, but beautiful days here to enjoy being outside! We even went to the park Saturday. Here is a short video of me playing.

Yesterday Dad cleaned out the old sandbox and put all fresh sand in. I had so much fun playing in it! I'm sure we'll have some pictures to share soon.

I continue to be a big helper (most of the time). I even try to put Kendall's nook in her mouth when she's crying.

Here are a couple pictures of her. Mom says she's not fitting in some of her newborn clothes anymore because she's long like me.

Happy 16th Birthday to my cousin Alex! Congratulations to my cousin Sean on making his First Communion! Dad graduates from Grad School next Sunday - yeah!
