Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello and we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We have so much to say that we don't even know where to start.

First, as you can see in the picture, Sissy and I went to see Santa the day before Thanksgiving. Uncle Bill came with us! Although we didn't smile, we didn't cry either. I personally wasn't willing to sit on this stranger's lap... I thought standing next to him was close enough!

The Sunday before I went to my first Christmas parade. It was in downtown Waukesha and I went with Ellie and her mom. What a wonderful parade it was and I had so much fun. We enjoyed a yummy cookie while we waited for it to start. I loved it so much I wouldn't share with Mom. My favorite parts of the parade were the fire trucks and the bands!

We were so lucky to have Daddy's family over for Thanksgiving. Uncle Bill, Grandma Mac, Aunt Kate, Uncle Mike, and Aunt Pam all came to our house! Uncle Bill played with me a lot and took care of Sissy. He is really good at getting her to go to sleep! Sissy really misses you, Uncle Bill, especially at nap and bed times!

Grandpa Mac started getting his grandsons Hess trucks for Christmas. Although I never got to meet him, Grandma has been getting them for me. Mom and Dad had the past couple years' put away, but I got to open them all up! They are my new favorite toys. They light up and make sounds and I constantly play with my "big trucks." Thank you very much, "Ma Mac."

It was the first time we had met Uncle Mike and Aunt Pam. We had so much fun with them! Uncle Mike serenaded Sissy with a couple tunes. The first one was something about a hand on a bible and a gun. It is my cousin Kellyn's favorite song. The next one was McNamara's Band, of course!

Uncle Mike also made Sissy laugh by putting her on top of his head. She would really find his hair to grab and just thought it was hysterical! Maybe it's because Dad doesn't have that much hair to grab?

Here we are... all dressed up for Thanksgiving. We had a delicious meal prepared by "Ma Mac" and Aunt Kate.

We had such a nice time with everyone. Thank you so much for traveling so far to be with us. The time spent with you went too fast!

Nana and Papa spent Thanksgiving at Disney World with Uncle David, Aunt Audrey, Isabella and Cohen. We hear you had a lot of fun and can't wait to see pictures! Thank you Nana and Papa for the souvenirs!

It's hard to believe that Sissy is 9 months old at the end of this month! She has started to pull herself up on everything... and she even took a couple steps this past weekend! Mom and Dad say they are not ready for her to start walking! I say bring it on because I know I'll be faster than her!

We had a little snowfall late Friday night into Saturday. I was excited to go play in the snow outside. I played with my neighbor, Alex. She even gave me a sled ride! I really just prefer to eat the snow.

Dad took me out for a little bit this morning. He put together the sled that "Ma Mac" and Aunt Kate sent. It is one awesome sled! I know Sissy and me will get a lot of use out of it! Thank you so much!

It's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house! The last of the decorations were put up this weekend including the tree. We love listening to Christmas music.

Mom and Dad had Sissy and me open a gift that "Ma Mac" and Aunt Kate had brought with them. They were music boxes and we both absolutely loved them. Thank you!

We have more videos to share, but it is time for bed! St. Nick comes tonight, so I need to be in bed asleep!

Sissy's "Talking" and Crawling!

Hello! We had another beautiful weekend. We've had such a nice fall so far. Want to see what we've been up to lately?

Well, when Daddy was gone in Alabama for work, Sissy was as good as could be. Here she's posing before we were off to start our days. Mom just loves those little boots! They were Elliott's at one time. I say, "Who cares about boots?" Mom says someday I'll understand.














Sissy's been saying, "Ma ma ma ma" now, too. She doesn't like to do it when the camera is on her, so... we had to be sneaky...


We had a video of Sissy crawling, but for some reason videos just aren't loading on here for Mommy anymore. She needs some help (tech support)!

On Saturday we decided to go to the Carroll football game for a little bit. At halftime, Dad and I played a little ball. I also got to see Matthias, Dad's good friend. We're going to get together with him and his family soon... can't wait!

Sunday was so gorgeous we decided to take a few pictures outside.

I wasn't really in to taking pictures with Sissy. I wanted to drive my John Deer tractor. It was too beautiful to be just sitting outside. C'mon Mom and Dad... I just want to play!

Then we had a little scare last night. I woke up and had trouble breathing. Mom took me to the ER where they determined I had croup. They gave me some medicine and I am feeling much better! Mom stayed home with me today and Dad is staying home tomorrow. I just took it easy today.

















We are all looking forward to Thanksgiving vacation, which will be here before we know it! Some big family news... my cousin Molly gave a verbal commitment to Stanford to run cross country and track. Congratulations Molly!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! We've had such a great weekend! On Saturday we went to "Boo at the Zoo." They had the zoo decorated for Halloween and I got to trick-or-treat. I'm really in to finding sticks right now, too, so of course I found a stick at the zoo!

I took my first train ride at the zoo and loved it!

I helped Mom and Dad carve a pumpkin.

But the best part was going trick-or-treating tonight. We went with Ellie and her brother Gavin. I had so much fun! I would run up to the door and on my way yell, "Trick-or-treat!"

Sissy is 7 months!

Hi there! Sissy is 7 months old today! She is getting to be so much fun... most of the time (she likes to pull my hair!). She is starting to crawl and I don't know who likes to play with my Mega Blocks more - me or her. Well, I build things and Sissy sucks on them.

We enjoy taking our baths together. I help wash Sissy and she splashes and plays.

Mom dressed up at her school today as a Bears football player. Dad snapped a photo of both Mom and Sissy in their pig tails.

Last weekend Mom and Dad painted their bedroom. We did go see Ellie and Gavin and their parents Saturday night, though. It was so much fun! I can't wait to go trick-or-treating with Ellie on Sunday. Once we get those pictures, we'll be sure to post them.

After tomorrow Mom only has one grad school class left - yeah! (Although I really do enjoy our pizza nights with just Dad, I don't want Mom to feel left out.)

I hope everyone is having a good week. We are counting down until Thanksgiving when Ma Mac and Aunt Kate will be visiting! Hopefully we'll post some pictures of trick-or-treating Sunday. Happy Halloween!

Happy Birthday Auntie Kady

Hi there! Sorry we didn't get a chance to post last night. Mom and Dad were tuckered out from their wedding weekend. They went to Chicago Saturday night for Maggie's wedding. They had a great time. Not as good of a time as Sissy and I had with Nana and Papa, though!

We continue to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and spend as much time outside as we can. Sissy loves to swing and watch me drive my tractor. She is also growing up to be quite the UCONN fan, just like me... and Dad. Look at that picture of her. You would have thought we were saying "cheeks" not "cheese!"

Sissy and I took our first bath together tonight. I love to share my toys with her (for now).

We had some videos to post, but for some reason they are not working tonight. We will try again soon. A special birthday wish goes out to our Auntie Kady. We hope you had a special day!

Hello! Here is a picture of Sissy's new sweater made by "Ma Mac." She even made some hats for us, but with the very warm weather we've recently had, we haven't worn them yet!






Daddy was at Disney World early this week for a work conference. We will have to take some pictures of us wearing our Mickey gear soon! With Dad being gone, I had to be the man of the house. When Mom was working in the kitchen, I was helping take care of Sissy. I brought her toys to keep her happy! Mom said I was a very big help!

We really missed Dad, though, and are so glad he is home. We were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch today with our friends, but Sissy and me both got fevers starting last night. We are doing fine, but decided to just take it easy today.

This last video is just a better look at the sweater "Ma Mac" made Sissy. Notice how well she is sitting on her own!
