Finally Feeling Better

Hi there! Well, I am finally feeling better this time! I went back to the doctor and still had an ear infection, so they gave me some new medecine. My two front teeth haven't poked through yet, so we are all looking forward to that so I may feel some relief. My cough is much better and I am off my inhaler.

We have had a pretty relaxing weekend so far. We ran some family errands today and have plans of just hanging out tonight and tomorrow. It is very cold here again. Dad just finished watching UCONN basketball beat Notre Dame.

Mom started Grad School this past week, so everyone is in school in our house but me! She said she really likes her group that she'll be working with for the next 22 months.

Mom was wiping off lint from my pants today and it made me get a case of the giggles. She caught some of it on video. If you listen closely, you'll notice I have a little "geek" in me.

Feeling Better

Wow! When I get a cold, I get a doozy! Dad stayed home with me Wednesday, and Mom had no school Thursday and Friday due to the extreme cold - thankfully! I ended up with a double ear infection! Then, I was having a little bit of a hard time breathing, so Doc gave me a breathing treatment and prescribed an inhaler. To top it off, I am still trying to get those front two teeth to come through. The good news... I AM FEELING MUCH BETTER!

On Friday, I was even up for playing some peek-a-boo with Mom.

Mom gave Dad Frank Caliendo tickets for Christmas, and his performance was last night (Saturday). After much debate, Mom and Dad decided to go (they deserved a night out!), and Nana and Papa came to babysit. We had so much fun and they took SUCH good care of me!

I loved playing peek-a-boo with Nana, and Papa had the right touch to put me to sleep. Thanks so much for being great babysitters Nana and Papa! I can't wait until we can do it again sometime.

This morning I felt noticeably better and seemed to be almost back to my cheery, old self while playing with Nana.

Back in the Routine

Happy Weekend! We are getting back in the routine of things again after having all that wonderful vacation time. I came down with another cold, so Mom and I are just going to lay low this weekend. Dad has class all weekend.




My Uncle Bill and Aunt Wanda gave me a huge stuffed dog for Christmas. It is so cuddly and I love wrestling with it! You can watch me play below. Sorry for the background noise - Mom was running me a bath!

My favorite thing to do in the bathtub now is eat my toes!

Way to go UCONN!

Go UCONN! They pulled it off after all! Yeah! I watched a little of the game, but it turns out they did better when I wasn't watching. I bet Dad had a good time in Toronto cheering on his alma mater, but I miss him and am excited he'll be home tonight - hopefully. His flight is delayed so far, so we're keeping our fingers crossed!

Yesterday Nana came to visit. We went to the mall and just walked around and had a great time. I had so much fun in my stroller looking at everything!

Of course Nana continues to spoil me. She brought me some toys and new clothes and bought me new clothes at the mall. Thank you very much, Nana! I'm glad you made it home safe today.

Mom and Dad go back to work tomorrow. We have had such a nice vacation and I don't want it to end. I am looking forward to seeing Robyn and all the other kids at daycare, though.

Happy 2009!

Happy 2009! I hope you had a wonderful New Year's Eve. We have another relaxing day in store in the McNamara household. It is a big day for football, so that is exciting. Mom took a few pictures of me trying out my new walker-wagon. I am not quite walking, so for now I am riding in it.

Notice my new sweatshirt - it says Crushers with a number 19 on the helmet. That was Daddy's number in college! How about that?

Dad leaves tomorrow for UCONN's bowl game in Toronto. Maybe someday I'll get to go with him. Go Huskies!

New Year's Eve

Happy New Year's Eve, everyone! We had a nice relaxing day - Mom and I didn't even leave the house. She was busy taking down Christmas decorations and cleaning. Dad put my new walker-wagon together and also lowered my crib. We took out all my stuffed animals and put them around the crib. Can you find me in the picture?

I'm sitting up all the time now like a big boy. I even inch along like a worm on the floor to get from one place to another. I know I'll be crawling in no time. Then Mom and Dad will really be running around... he he he.

I continue to enjoy my Baby Einstein movie. The picture below is of me watching my movie. Notice the new slipper socks. Those were from Grandma for Christmas. Thanks, again, Grandma. They keep my toes really toasty!

I hope everyone enjoys their New Year's Eve. Mom and Dad are staying in and watching a movie (Mom thinks they will end up watching football). Dad is cooking steaks right now, Mom made twice-bakes, and I am sticking with my delicious soy formula! Cheers! Happy New Year!

My New Socks are "Kickin'!"

Good Morning! It is so nice to be on vacation this week. We are going to stay in our jammies as long as possible today!





Last night Mom took a picture of my kickin' new socks that I got for Christmas from Uncle Pete, Aunt Suzy, and cousins Molly, Connor, Mary Kate, and Emmett. Aren't they cool? They come in all different colors.



Yesterday I wore Aunt Kate's outfit she gave me for Christmas. Don't I look handsome?

My new "thing" to do is make sounds with my lips. There's a short video of it below.
