Hi!  Check out this really cool bike!  We went to a park Friday and had a lot of fun riding this bike, looking at the river, and watching the ducks.

We enjoyed swimming lessons, a cookout, and some quality family time this weekend.  It's hard to say that we even got some shoes for school!  We just don't want summer to end.

State Fair starts next week and we are getting excited to see all of the animals!  We'll check back in soon!  Have a great week.

We Love Summer

Hi there!  It's been awhile since we've been on here.  We have been busy doing fun summer things!
Here is Sissy enjoying her first taste of popcorn.

I went to UW-Milwaukee a few times this summer to meet with Miss Lina, a graduate student.  Here I am on the last day bringing her a pretty flower to say, "Thanks!"

With the recent hot weather, we spent a lot of time in the pool.  We love to swim!

Mom took us to the zoo yesterday.  We went on the train!  Chris, Katie, Ellie, and Gavin met us there.

Dad took a few days off of work coming up.  We can't wait to all hang out and spend some time with him!  We hope you are all doing well.

We Love Sand!

We are very excited because I finally have decided I like the sand after all.  Today we went to Minooka Park and played at the beach.  It didn't take long... and with the help of Katie's coaxing, I was off enjoying the sand and water.  So much so that Mom kept asking me to stay closer to shore.  Here I am with Katie and her kids Gavin and Ellie.  We are great friends.

I'm always looking out for Sissy, too.



OH!  The other big news I have to share is...



I went to the dentist today!  I was a really good boy (really!) and had a healthy check-up on my teeth.  Dr. Mike just says I need to quit sucking my fingers at night.  He suggested Mom use Tabasco Sauce... whatever that is.  I am really growing up.

Sissy is growing up, too.  She even goes up stairs and down slides all by herself now.



We sure are enjoying our summer!  Have a great rest of the week!

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July up at Nana and Papa's.  The weather was PERFECT!  Check out all that we did...
Of course we went boating.

Papa even let me drive the boat!  Honking the horn was fun...

but driving fast was the best!

Sissy had a bit of a hard time walking when the boat was going, but she got the hang of it.

Great-Grandma Mary came for a boat ride, too!  Sissy always enjoys spending time with her (it's who she is named after). 

Since I like speed so much, Dad decided to take me go-karting!



I loved it!

We also spent time down by the lake.  I didn't really care to go in the water, but Sissy loved it!

I watched Papa fish for a little bit.  I must have been his good luck charm because he caught one!



We went to the parade on the 4th.  It was hot, but I loved all the trucks!

Great-Grandma Mary and Great-Grandpa Bob came out for dinner on the 4th.  It was so good to see them!

We had a great time up north.  I think the best part was spending time with my cousins Isabella and Cohen.  We have so much fun together.  Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures together this time.

Summer Fun

Hello and Happy 4th of July Weekend!  We have been enjoying lots of summer fun!

Along with summer sun and hot weather, comes popsicles...

and picnics at the park!

Sissy fell the other day and got an "owie" on her lip.

Fiesta Waukesha

Hi there!  Mom took Sissy and me to the zoo on Friday.  Check out this huge lizard!

You wouldn't believe this, but the blue peacock in the background got SO close to me that its feathers touched me!  All it wanted was a goldfish that I dropped on the ground.  Mom didn't catch that on camera.

We went to Fiesta Waukesha this weekend.  First I rode in the cars.

Right before the ride began, this cute little girl came and sat by me.  There were a bunch of cars open, but she chose to come sit by me.  What do you think attracted her... the glasses?

Turns out she talked too much.  Dad said it's a girl thing.

Then Mom and I rode the balloons!  She thought I would be scared, but no fear here!

While I rode the cars again, Sissy played with a balloon.

Do you like my headband (asks Kendall)?  It was a birthday gift from Uncle Bill!

After the rides, we all enjoyed a snack.  We had nachos, but the best part were the churros!  Yummy!

Sissy loved them, too!

She also enjoyed listening to the music while snacking.

It was the first beautiful weekend we've had after a lot of rain.  We spent as much time outside as we could!
