Happy St. Nick!

Hello from Mr. Potato Head!  Kendall has been SO in to jewelry that she even "dressed up" Mr. Potato Head!

Miss Katie continues to show off her creativity.  I made a pretty snowflake picture.

And I made a Santa hat!

"Auntie" Nicole sent us some early Christmas gifts.  There were books, a Thomas the Train paint book, and two advent calendars!  Thank you so much "Auntie" Nicole.  We love eating a piece of chocolate everyday (that NEVER happens) and it's so helpful in counting down the days until Santa comes!

I know Mom (yes, I am now starting to call my mom "Mom" instead of "Mama," which makes her so sad) said I was into jewelry, but I also have a love for shoes!  Here I am trying on Mom's.

Can you say, "Diva?"  Miss Katie always has me looking so fashionable!

I continue to be very independent.  I MUST brush my own teeth before anyone else helps!

Mom and Sissy went up north last weekend to visit Great-Grandpa Bob and Great-Grandma Mary.  I had a fun time baking brownies with Miss Katie.

Dad had me all decked out in UCONN gear for the game!  It was a boys' weekend and what is a boys' weekend without football?

Earlier this week it looked liked a winter wonderland outside.  Although none of the snow stuck, it still was very pretty and I liked watching through the window and playing out in it!

Jackson and I received a little suprise from Nana and Papa earlier in the week, too!  Thank you, Nana and Papa!

Another surprise we had was that St. Nick came to visit!  He left us some special things in our stockings!  I got a firetruck transformer, two rubber ducks for the bath, and my first Pez candy dispenser!

St. Nick left me some things, too!  He left me a new phone (a girl can never have too many phones), two rubber duckies for the bath, and a Pez dispenser!

I definitely like this time of year!  St. Nick, advent calendars, Christmas lights...

A special Happy Birthday to our cousin Casey!  We hope everyone has a great rest of the week and is getting in the spirit of Christmas just as we are!  We love you!

Sesame Street Live!

Here we are over Thanksgiving break going to Sesame Street Live!  It was awesome and I can't stop talking about it!

On our way to the show, there was the coolest Elmo toy!  Sissy and I both loved playing with it.



Of course we just had to have new Elmo toys that light up!  My brother keeps saying, "Turn the lights off.  I will light the way."

Would you believe the letter of the day was J?  That's right... J is for Jackson!



After intermission, Dad had the best idea!  We moved seats so we could dance!  It was so much fun!

An exciting show + a lot of popcorn = a tired boy!

Then on Sunday, there was a BIG game on.  Mommy's team (da Bears) were playing Daddy's team (the Raiders).  Although Dad was out-numbered, his team won.

Don't you worry, though.  We're still Bear fans!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We have enjoyed spending a lot of time together as a family.  We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner and put up our Christmas tree.  We will show more pictures of that once it's decorated.  The following are pictures from the last week with Miss Katie.

We had a couple "tired" days while we were fighting our colds.

We went to the Waukesha Christmas parade last Sunday. It was long and cold, but well worth it. The best part was seeing Santa at the end!  We also loved seeing Elmo.

I really wanted to talk to Santa, but Mom and Dad said he was too busy that night.

Sissy is really into accessories now.  She loves wearing necklaces... always has to have at least 8 on... and also loves to try on shoes.  Here she is wearing Mom's boots.

Miss Katie keeps us so busy... I really like coloring and drawing.

We made muffins this past week, too.  Yum!

Ma Mac and Aunt Kate visit, Train Fest and More!

Hi there!  We've been very busy lately!  Ma Mac and Aunt Kate came to visit us recently.  We had such a nice visit... it just went too fast!  Dad, Mom, Ma Mac and Aunt Kate went out one night while they were here.  They went to Holy Hill and out to eat dowtown.  I'm sure they had fun, but Sissy and me had more fun at home with Miss Katie.

We had some pretty nice weather while they were here, so we enjoyed some time outside.

Thank you, Ma Mac and Aunt Kate for driving all the way out here to see us and spoil us!  We always have so much fun with you and this trip was no different.

Miss Katie continues to make our days with her exciting and fun.  We just finished a project that is going to be our dinner table's center piece for Thanksgiving!  We took brown paint and shook it up in a cleaned creamer bottle.

Shake, shake, shake!

Although art isn't my favorite activity, Miss Katie's projects always interest me!

Then we painted on some white paper.  Miss Katie cut that up to make them look like feathers and attached them to the creamer bottle.  We don't have a picture of the final project yet... wait until you see!  We'll take a picture soon.

On Sunday, Mom and Dad took us to Train Fest!  It was SO cool!  Nana and Papa were in town, so they met us there, which made it extra special!



There were small trains, big trains, slow trains and fast trains.  This next video is of a really fast train that kind-of surprised me!



I wanted to grab it as you'll see, but most of the trains at Train Fest were, as Mom says, "to look at with your eyes only" not touch with your hands.

We did find some trains that they DID let kids play with!

I was very tired.  Thankfully Papa carried me everywhere.

I had such a nice time with Nana and Papa that I asked if I could go home in their car!

It was a pretty nice day, so we decided to go on a family walk.  I found a pinecone!





There's nothing like spending quality time as a family!  I really look forward to it and often ask, "Today are we spending time as a family?"

We are all looking forward to spending more time as a family with Thanksgiving coming up soon!  It reminds us of how thankful we are for all our family and friends.  We love you all!

Trick-or-Treat!

Trick-or-treat!  Hope you had a Happy Halloween!  We had trick-or-treat on Halloween and went to a few houses in our neighborhood.  It was so much fun!

Before we even began, I found the candy Mom set out on the porch.

I could't resist the candy.  I was drawn to the suckers.

After we went to a couple houses, we decided it was time for a "taste test."



Although Daddy was still not feeling well, he wanted to come along with us.



We continue to have so much fun with Miss Katie.  She is SO good to us!
