A Busy, Snowy Weekend

Hi there! We had a busy, snowy weekend! Mom was supposed to go to Chicago Friday, but wasn't feeling well and the weather man was predicting some major snow. Happy Birthday Mandi and Maggie. I hope I get to meet you soon!

Well, we did get that snow - at least 6 inches of it. Mom and I braved the snowstorm Saturday to go to Aunt Audrey's party. It was so good to see my cousins Isabella and Cohen, Aunt Audrey, Nana, and cousin Kathy. Dad had grad school all weekend.

Today Mom's friend, Kim, came to visit. She's having a baby in August. It was really great to see her again. When Dad got home we ran a couple errands.

I continue to love eating! Today I tried fresh pear, a blueberry, broccoli, and cauliflower! I also love cheese and bread. I enjoy moving around as much as I can. The army crawl works well for me for now.

Happy Valentine's Day

Good Morning and Happy Valentine's Day one day late! Dad grilled steak last night and Mom said it was delicious. I tried a real peach and real sweet potatoes - yummy! I really like wheat bagels, too. I am an eating machine these days.

This picture is from last weekend. It was a little warmer than usual, so Mom and Dad bundled me up and took me for a short walk. I think we are all counting down the days until spring.

The video below is a little snapshot of how talkative I am these days. Yesterday when we all went to the grocery store, Dad didn't even have to ask Mom which aisle she was in... he just had to follow my voice! Can you believe I am almost 9 months old already?

I am still trying to crawl. I get a little frustrated because I know I want to go somewhere, I just can't seem to go at the pace I want to, yet. Mom and Dad are thankful for that so far.

We were able to get a couple videos of me eating my breakfast this morning. The first one you'll notice I am not too fond of the cereal.

Since I didn't eat much of my cereal, I enjoyed a few bites of a wheat bagel. Dad was playing peek-a-boo with me, too, so I was a little distracted.

Good Morning! Today is Great-Grandpa Bob's birthday. Happy Birthday, Great-Grandpa! I hope you enjoy your special day! I am thinking of you.

What a beautiful weekend it has been. It was in the high 40s and sunny yesterday, but windy. Dad took me for some errands while Mom got her hair done. Last night, Mom and Dad had our neighbors over for dinner. I was scared of people I have never met, but Mom and Dad said overall I behaved well.

We may run some errands today as it is supposed to be sunny and mild (compared to recent temperatures) again. We need to get a couple gates because I am becoming a "moving man" fast!

Recently my favorite things to do include "scooching" around, feeding myself, having a pillow fight with Dad, and of course, playing peek-a-boo.

I can't wait until I can throw pillows back at Daddy.

My First Playdate

Good Morning and Happy Superbowl Sunday! I have had a busy weekend. The best part so far has been my first playdate with Elliott. She is 9-months old and she was crawling circles around me! We had a lot of fun. She had some really cool toys.

Thanks for sharing your toys, Elliott, and you're yummy snacks! I can't wait to hang out again soon. Sounds like we are destined to be best buds.

As you can see below, I have a little ways to go before I can keep up with Elliott.

Dad, Mom, and I went to the Carroll Men's Basketball game for a little while yesterday. It was a fun-filled Saturday.

On Friday night, Dad was playing with me and had me giggling again.

Today I'm just going to hang out with Dad and watch the Superbowl. Mom has some schoolwork to do. Robyn, my sitter, is spending a weekend away with her family, so Dad is staying home with me tomorrow. Dad said we might go visit Mom at work!

Mom says breakfast is ready, so I have to go. Look for another posting Tuesday... it's a VERY special day.

Finally Feeling Better

Hi there! Well, I am finally feeling better this time! I went back to the doctor and still had an ear infection, so they gave me some new medecine. My two front teeth haven't poked through yet, so we are all looking forward to that so I may feel some relief. My cough is much better and I am off my inhaler.

We have had a pretty relaxing weekend so far. We ran some family errands today and have plans of just hanging out tonight and tomorrow. It is very cold here again. Dad just finished watching UCONN basketball beat Notre Dame.

Mom started Grad School this past week, so everyone is in school in our house but me! She said she really likes her group that she'll be working with for the next 22 months.

Mom was wiping off lint from my pants today and it made me get a case of the giggles. She caught some of it on video. If you listen closely, you'll notice I have a little "geek" in me.

Feeling Better

Wow! When I get a cold, I get a doozy! Dad stayed home with me Wednesday, and Mom had no school Thursday and Friday due to the extreme cold - thankfully! I ended up with a double ear infection! Then, I was having a little bit of a hard time breathing, so Doc gave me a breathing treatment and prescribed an inhaler. To top it off, I am still trying to get those front two teeth to come through. The good news... I AM FEELING MUCH BETTER!

On Friday, I was even up for playing some peek-a-boo with Mom.

Mom gave Dad Frank Caliendo tickets for Christmas, and his performance was last night (Saturday). After much debate, Mom and Dad decided to go (they deserved a night out!), and Nana and Papa came to babysit. We had so much fun and they took SUCH good care of me!

I loved playing peek-a-boo with Nana, and Papa had the right touch to put me to sleep. Thanks so much for being great babysitters Nana and Papa! I can't wait until we can do it again sometime.

This morning I felt noticeably better and seemed to be almost back to my cheery, old self while playing with Nana.
