FBI Junior Agent

I am barely even allowed to wake up this morning and Mom is snapping away with that camera. She said Uncle Bill would want to see me wearing his FBI Junior Agent shirt. I was still tired, though!

Mom took me for a jog when we got home tonight. I really like the jogging stroller.

We even stopped at the park on the way home and I went on the swing!

I am really trying to take some steps on my own. Here is a short video of just a couple of those steps.

Dad is starting to take some steps of his own, too. We have three "just boys" nights in a row this week while Mom has meetings, Grad School, and a school bridal shower. I am looking forward to spending some time with my Daddy... even though I am still moving a little faster than him.

Well, I have to "crawl." A special congratulations to Uncle Mike for his exciting news. I hope I get to meet you this summer when we are at Grandma's.

Daddy's Cast is Off!

Hi there! Isn't this a great picture of me with my Papa? I just had to share it with you!

Well, Dad got his cast off yesterday. He needs to do a lot of work to make his leg as strong as mine (therapy), but it is nice to see him off his crutches a little bit.

I am working on getting my seventh tooth already if I am counting right.

Easter

Hi there! Today Mom took me for a long walk and to the park. I am fighting a nasty cold, but am trying to be in good spirits.

Let me tell you about my Easter! We had a great time at Uncle David and Aunt Audrey's. I played with my cousins Isabella and Cohen.

On Easter Sunday, Mom and I drove all the way to Eagle River to spend some time at Nana and Papa's. It was a beautiful day and Mom took some pictures (imagine that). There's a picture of the view from my Nana and Papa's dock on the lake and also one with Nana and me on their dock.

The sunset on the lake was really beautiful. This is a view from my Nana and Papa's house. It's so peaceful.

Then I came down with my cold... but I really have been a trooper. My Papa tried to make me feel better. He took me on the swing by the lake.

I enjoyed being at Nana and Papa's. They have lots of room for me to crawl around. I took my first step, too! I liked walking between the coffee table and couch. I got to spend some time with Great-Grandma Mary and Great-Grandpa Bob, too. Thanks, Nana and Papa, for letting me have the run of your house!

Mom decided to come home Wednesday, though, with me feeling kind of lousy. It's nice to be back home with Dad. It was so beautiful today Mom took me to visit Dad at work and then to walk around the park. We went on the baby swing, too. It's supposed to be even nicer tomorrow.

Mom has a couple videos she wanted to share. First, there is one of me shaking my head "no" when I was finished with breakfast.

The last video is of my Uncle David playing with me when we celebrated Easter on Saturday.

I want to send out Happy Birthday wishes to my friend Elliott. She turned 1 on Saturday. Happy Birthday, Elliott! I can't wait for our next playdate.

Easter Basket

Good Morning! I made (Mya made) my first Easter basket this week. Mom thought it was adorable. It was made out of an egg carton!

I am really getting excited to celebrate Easter tomorrow. We are going to Uncle David's and Aunt Audrey's and will see Isabella, Cohen, Uncle Bill, Aunt Wanda, Nana, Papa, Great Grandma Mary, and Great Grandpa Bob. Then Mom and I will be going to Eagle River to Nana and Papa's on Sunday. Dad is staying home to work.

Dad had a doctor's appointment Wednesday and Doc said he'll be able to walk in two weeks. Yippee! Dad took a video of Mom loving me up last night...

We may try to go to the park after my nap this afternoon. If we don't get a chance to post before, I want to wish you a very happy Easter!

My First Shiner

Hi! I got my first shiner today. I was standing at Robyn's and took a pretty good fall. Of course I was tough, but I do have a little black eye. Mom hasn't taken a picture, yet. This is from the other morning.

Dad goes back to the doctor tomorrow for his next cast and an update. We are looking forward to the day he can wear the "boot" and become a little more mobile. We're hoping for that to happen in two weeks.

Mom is counting down until spring break (only two more days).

Speaking of Mom... look how she made bottles tonight (only Nana, Grandma Mac, Aunt Kate, and Dad will really find this funny). She forgot the liners and dumped all the formula!

Here kitty, kitty, kitty... Iso even let me grab him last night, but not for long...

10 Months Old

Hi there. Guess who's 10 months old? Can you believe it? Mom and Dad can't. Speaking of Mom... she almost forgot to post on the blog tonight, but I reminded her before bed. I told her Uncle Bill might be upset if she didn't, so thankfully she listened.

Grandma Mac got me this snazzy new outfit for Easter. Mom wanted to take some pictures of me in it today. Dad wasn't home to make me smile (he was at grad school - where everyone wore t-shirts of an injured heel!). We'll take some more next weekend at Uncle David and Aunt Audrey's when we are celebrating Easter. Smile or no smile, I think I am still looking pretty handsome in this blazer. Thank you, Grandma, for my new Easter outfit.

Mom is always taking pictures of me in the bathtub. Why does she do that? She says this one shows off my eyelashes. Mom is usually more wet than me after a bath now. I just love to splash her. Little does she know it's for all those times she wipes my face after eating (which I don't like one bit!).

Although I have always enjoyed mirrors, I am really having fun looking at myself in them. As always, I love to move. I am crawling MUCH faster than Dad can even "crutch" and using everything to pull myself up to standing. I get in to everything. All this exploring leads to some "bumps" and "booms," but I am trying to be tough.

Grandma Mac and Aunt Kate were so much help all last week. We really miss them. Their visit seemed so short with how busy our schedules were. Thank you, again, Grandma and Aunt Kate for coming all the way out here to help. You spoiled us!

Well, it's time to call it a night. Have a great week. Hopefully many of you have Friday off like Mom and Dad, so you have a short work week. Next week Mom has spring break and we are going to spend some time up north in Eagle River at Nana and Papa's.

Sunday Funday

Sundays are my favorite days because we call them Sunday Fundays. I was so excited to have our Sunday Funday that I woke up at 4:30 this morning. It took some "flexibility" by everyone in the house today to deal with me. If I could only tell them that all four top front teeth are coming in, maybe they'd understand my crankiness.

Mom did manage to take a quick picture of me before bed with Grandma and Aunt Kate.
