Spring Break

Hi there! Above is a short video of me being such a good big brother. Kendall was in her swing and I was watching over her. I am becoming a little more interested in her and getting better at sharing Mom and Dad.

Dad gave Kendall her first bottle this week. So far she has been a very good eater!

This week I was on Spring Break, so I have been home with Mom and Dad all week. Dad took most of the week off, so we enjoyed a lot of family time together. Most of the week was awful weather, but the last two days have been beautiful. We've spent a lot of time outside. I even went to my favorite park today! Also, I wanted to tell you about my friend Alex. She is a neighbor girl. Although she is 6 and in kindergarten, she loves to play with me. She comes over whenever she sees me outside.

With me being home for break this week, I had a few playdates. Aunt Audrey and my cousins Isabella and Cohen came over at the beginning of the week. In the middle of the week Mom, Kendall, and I went to my friend Elliott's house. She enjoyed holding Kendall.

On Friday, Elliott, her brother Gavin, and her parents came over. They brought us a yummy dinner to eat. They also brought a gift for Kendall and me! When I go to Elliott's house, I love playing in her tent. Well, Elliott's mom and dad got me a tractor to play in and I absolutely love it!

I love to bring a bunch of books in there and read them! Thank you SO much Chris and Katie for the tractor! Happy Birthday, again, to Elliott!

On Saturday, Nana and Papa stopped by because they were in the area. It was so nice to see them again. Can't wait to see you again soon!

Today was a big day. The Flyers won, so now they are in the playoffs. Kendall's not much of a hockey fan yet... she fell asleep during the most exciting part of the hockey game.

The Yankees won, too, so Dad was real happy today. Not to mention I was sporting UCONN gear.

Dad took a picture of the diaper cake Grandma Mac and Aunt Kate sent Kendall. It is really cool!

Thank you very much for the special gift Grandma and Aunt Kate! Mom and Dad said you will be here before I know it! Can't wait!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! We are enjoying a relaxing weekend at home. Kendall is doing well. Mom and Dad even let me hold her!

The Easter Bunny stopped by my house, and it left me an Easter basket!

After I went through my basket, I had my first Easter egg hunt in my house! I found all the eggs. Each egg had something yummy in it, like Teddy Grahams, raisins, vanilla wafers, or animal crackers. As I opened the eggs, I ate the yummies inside.

Auntie Kady sent me an Easter basket. Thank you so much, Auntie Kady. It is full of yummy treats.

We have had some really nice days here. It has been windy, but at least it's been warmer. Dad has been great about playing with me outside. We swing, go down the slide, push the strollers around, push the lawnmower, and play with sidewalk chalk. We can't wait until Kendall gets a little older and it isn't so windy so we can all go on family walks.

With the warmer weather, some flowers have been blooming around our house. It is exciting to see what has been planted before we moved in. I started to pull the flowers off, but Dad told me I am not supposed to do that.

We also have some new flowers to plant. Auntie Kady sent flowers to Kendall that are beautiful! Kendall says thank you!

Uncle Bill also sent some lovely flowers to Kendall in my favorite flower pot! I love duckies. Thank you very much Uncle Bill!

I continue to be a great big brother to Kendall. I try to help as much as I can. I am doing really well sharing Mom and Dad.

I remind Mommy to give Kendall her important tummy time. She already tries to hold her head up.

I check on Kendall when she is sleeping. By the way... do you notice she sleeps with her mouth wide open? Dad says she sleeps just like Grandma Mac.

We Finally Meet!

I finally was able to meet my baby sister Kendall. At times I am interested in her, at other times I don't really pay much attention to her. With everything that has been going on, Mom and Dad say they are really proud of how I am adjusting so far.

Kendall and I both went to the doctor for check-ups yesterday. We are both doing well according to our Doc. Before we left, I wanted to make sure Kendall was all set and ready to go.

Welcome Kendall Mary McNamara

Have we ever had an eventful weekend! On Friday, my baby sister, Kendall Mary McNamara, was born at 10:56 a.m. Her middle name is after my Great-Grandma Mary. She weighed 7 pounds and measured 19 1/2 inches long. She was so excited to meet me that Mom's labor only lasted 3 hours! Dad and Mom arrived at the hospital at 9:30 a.m. and she was born less than 1 1/2 hours later! I guess she was as excited to meet me as I was to meet her.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to meet her right away because I was sick. She had a lot of visitors, though! Nana and Papa came down right away to meet her and help take care of me.
Uncle David went to meet Kendall.

Aunt Audrey and Isabella met her, too!Here's a short video Dad took of Kendall. She was born with a lot of dark hair, just like me!

Although I was feeling under the weather, Daddy, Nana, and Papa were doing their best trying to keep me happy! Papa played peek-a-boo with me when he was outside grilling. I took a turn for the worse Saturday night, so Dad ended up taking me to the ER. I was very brave and such a trooper. My ear infection had not improved and I now have bronchitis. Feeling better today, though. The highlight of my day was having everyone home... Mom, Dad, and Kendall. I did get to meet my baby sister today, and Mom plans on posting some of those pictures very soon. It's off to bed now to catch some much-needed rest.

Hello and happy spring! Yesterday was the first day of spring and we woke up to a snow globe outside. Thankfully, the snow did not stick. Uncle Bill sent me a Raiders outfit for Christmas, so we wanted to be sure to put a picture on here of me wearing it.

It came with sweatpants, too, that Mom thought would be too big for me, but sure enough... I fit in them! I keep trying to tell Mom and Dad that I am getting so big. They just ask me to use my words. I know what I am saying, but they seem to think it sounds like a different language. I am getting good at saying, "No."

So with the baby coming soon, Mom and Dad have taken some of my old baby things out. I really like the baby carrier - it's like my own personal rocking chair. Mom's doctor said that if Baby Mac doesn't come by March 29th, they are going to give Mom medicine so that she has the baby on March 29th. That's only 8 days away! I am excited!

I have been playing outside as much as I can. I love my yard even more than I did in the fall. I run to the swingset all the time.

Fun with Aunt Audrey and Cohen

Good Morning! I had an exciting week! Unfortunately my sitter and her daughter were sick a few days this week. So, I got to stay home with Mom and Dad a couple days, but on Friday I got to go to my Aunt Audrey and Uncle David's house to play with Cohen! I was even able to see Isabella before she went to school!

Aunt Audrey took all these wonderful pictures. I had the BEST time there. Let me tell you all about it!

Cohen played peek-a-boo with me.

We had breakfast... twice.

We drew on the easel.

We played outside with the wagon.

We wrote on the driveway with sidewalk chalk.

We even chased bubbles!

And before we went in for lunch, we played in the snow a little.

Then it was lunch time, but we were so dirty and wet, we ate lunch pantless!

Can you believe we did all that in one day? It was a blast! Thank you SO, SO much Aunt Audrey. I had a lot of fun and it was great spending time with you and Cohen! Thank you Cohen for sharing all your cool toys with me!

Today Mom and I are being lazy. Dad is at Grad School all weekend and it is rainy and yucky outside. Earlier this week when I was home with Mom, we did some coloring. I actually like to just make as much noise as I can with the colored pencils rather than color a picture. Check this video out.

On another day, Dad took a video of me enjoying the cat door. That's right... not only do Ace and Iso love the cat door Papa made, but I do too! I just enjoy it in a different way...

It seems as though spring is finally here. Mom and I found a plant sprouting in our backyard, which is exciting. I've been spending time outside every chance I get. I just love pushing the stroller up and down the sidewalk.

Dad even hung up my swing for me!

Tomorrow my friend Elliott is coming over with her mom and new baby brother. I can't wait to have someone to play with for awhile!

There are a lot of birthdays coming up! First, my cousin Mary Kate's birthday is Monday... Happy Birthday, Mary Kate! I hope you have a wonderful day! My sitter's son's birthday is Tuesday. Happy Birthday, AJ! I can't wait to give you your gift on Monday if everyone is feeling better. My cousin Hannah's birthday is next Saturday. Happy Birthday, Hannah! I have really enjoyed following all your success in lacrosse so far! Keep up the good work!

Hi! Here I am doing one of the things I love best - reading books. I could sit and read books all day with Mom and Dad. I can't wait to read books with my sister before too long.

We have had a beautiful weekend. The weather was so nice we spent as much time outside as we could.

We went for walks and I ran up and down the sidewalk taking in all the wonderful fresh air.

Mom had Friday off, so we enjoyed a Mommy and Jackson day. Then Mom had a grad school conference on Saturday, so then I enjoyed a Daddy and Jackson day! We enjoyed a fabulous family day today just working around the house and playing outside.
