Hi! Here I am doing one of the things I love best - reading books. I could sit and read books all day with Mom and Dad. I can't wait to read books with my sister before too long.

We have had a beautiful weekend. The weather was so nice we spent as much time outside as we could.

We went for walks and I ran up and down the sidewalk taking in all the wonderful fresh air.

Mom had Friday off, so we enjoyed a Mommy and Jackson day. Then Mom had a grad school conference on Saturday, so then I enjoyed a Daddy and Jackson day! We enjoyed a fabulous family day today just working around the house and playing outside.

Hi! I hope you are all doing well. We don't have too much to update you on this week. This picture was taken last weekend. Mom, Dad, and I ran a bunch of errands, and it wore me out.

We can't believe it is the last day of February. It is my Aunt Audrey's birthday today. Happy Birthday, Aunt Audrey! I hope you enjoyed your vacation with your friends!

Nana and Papa were at Uncle David's while Aunt Audrey was on vacation. They stopped by Saturday and ended up spending the night, which was a nice surprise! Papa put heat in our basement, so now when we play down there it isn't cold! Thank you SO much Papa. I love going down there to play and run around. Papa also put up a couple pieces of trim where it didn't look so nice. We are so thankful for all of Papa's work! He sure is a handyman.

Yesterday we went to visit my friend Elliott, her mom and dad, and her new baby brother Gavin. He is only 2 weeks old and is so little! I didn't take too much interest in the baby, but instead I had a lot of fun playing with Elliott. She has the coolest tent and tunnel that we kept chasing each other in. Mom forgot to bring the camera.

Mom and Nana ran out shopping for a little while last night. Nana helped Mom pick out a few things for the house, which made Mom so happy. I got to stay with Dad and Papa.

Today Mom, Dad, and I went to the mall. They let me play with a train table at Barnes N Noble, which I loved. They even let me walk around the mall! I helped them pick out blinds for a couple rooms in the house. It was a big choice, but I am happy with what we decided to do.

Aunt Kate sent me a globe pillow, which is so cool! Thank you very much, Aunt Kate! What a thoughtful gift.

Can you believe that it's already been almost a year since Daddy's big owie? Remember when he had surgery on his foot? I'm so glad you are better, Dad. I know you are looking forward to getting outside and exercising a little once the weather is warmer... me too!









A special Happy Birthday goes out to my cousin Emmett! His birthday is tomorrow.

Birthday Party

Peek-a-boo! Today was a really fun day! Mom, Dad and I went to Mom's friend's daughter's birthday party in Chicago. On our way we stopped at Gurnee Mall. Mom and Dad let me walk around in the mall. I enjoyed pushing the stroller, which is good practice for when I'm helping take care of my sister. I also rode a carousel for the first time! It made Dad dizzy, but I thought it was exciting!

Then I met Katelyn for the first time. It was her first birthday. She had some of the coolest toys I have ever seen. My favorite was a blow-up "pool" of plastic balls. I wouldn't even eat any lunch because I was too busy having fun!

Mom was able to catch up with some of her college friends and Dad kept chasing me around. It was a great day! Once we got in the car to come home, I was out like a light.

While I was sleeping, Uncle Bill and Auntie Kady kept Mom and Dad updated on my cousin Hannah's lacrosse team. She is famous! She started her first college game today and scored 2 goals as a freshman! The next time I see her I am going to have to ask for her autograph!

I am beginning to learn that all my cousins are so talented. From ice-skating to running to lacrosse... it's so impressive! They sure have set the bar high!

My Great-Grandpa Bob's birthday was last week. Happy Birthday, Great-Grandpa! Remember this picture? It was taken almost a year ago already! Speaking of birthdays, my cousin Kellyn's birthday is this week. Happy Birthday, Kellyn! We hope you enjoy your very special day.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! What are you doing to celebrate this special day? Mom and I are hanging out while Dad is at grad school this weekend.

Well, I have so much to share! First, while Dad was in Florida for work this week, Nana and Papa came to take care of me so Mom could go to grad school and have parent-teacher conferences. On Thursday, they took me to the Children's Museum. I love it there!

We played and played. Then on Friday, Nana and Papa took me to Mom's school. I got to meet all her second graders and explore Mom's classroom. I had a great time and it wore me out! After lunch, Papa and I decided to relax a little.

Thanks for taking such good care of me Nana and Papa. I miss you already! See you soon, though. The baby will be here before we all know it (6 weeks!). Speaking of baby, Dad said a few family members were interested in seeing how big Mom's belly is! She didn't really want to put a picture up, but Dad and me insisted. Let me prepare you... I love playing with belly buttons... and I have no trouble finding Mom's. It's like a bull's eye!

On Saturday, Mom took me to get a haircut. She says I am a handsome little man now. I started to play peek-a-boo with my hands now, which Mom and Dad think is so cute!

My appetite seems to be back after feeling under the weather. My likes and dislikes for food is changing constantly. My new favorite is cauliflower with cheese, but I hardly eat any fruit!

Thank you very much for the valentines everyone. I hope you received mine. Grandma Mac sent me a handmade sweater, mittens, and hat. Mom took some pictures of me wearing the beautiful sweater and hat.

They are so cozy and warm Grandma. Perfect for Wisconsin weather... although I hear you've been getting way more snow by you than we have been getting here! Thank you very much.

Feeling Better

Hello! Here I am trying a new fruit freeze pop. I had been fighting a cold for some time, but then Mom and Dad took me to Urgent Care Friday night. I just was feeling so lousy! The doctor there was amazing - she even sang to me! They gave me a freeze pop there - so Mom decided to get something like that for home, too. I really prefer to lick the cold outside rather than eat any of it. Turns out I have pneumonia and the start of an ear infection, but I am feeling so much better now that I have some medecine from the doc.

Although I have spent a lot of time on the couch watching TV lately (Mickey Mouse, of course), I was more active today and decided to make a mess of the kitchen with all the tupperware and pots and pans.

I even ate a little today, which is such an improvement from the last few days. Mom and Dad were so proud - they were cheering like I did something really great. You know those two - they can be a little crazy.

Earlier in the week, Mom and Dad were giving me lots of baths to help take down my fever and make me feel better. One night Mom used the spray nozzle like it was a shower. I had a lot of fun! The video below is rated PG-13 because I am naked! Yikes!

Mom took a picture of me napping today. It was the most peaceful nap I have had in quite some time. A definite sign of me feeling better!

Grandma Mac's birthday was last Wednesday. I hope you had fun at your party, Grandma. Happy Birthday!

Dad is going out of town on business this week, so Nana and Papa are coming Wednesday. I get to stay home with them Thursday and Friday while Mom works and has conferences. I can't wait to spend time with them!

February Already?!?

Can you believe tomorrow is going to be February? We think time is flying! Dad says wait until the baby is here - it will go even faster. I picked out my valentines this weekend - Mickey Mouse Club, of course. Mom and Dad tried to get a valentines picture today, but as you can see, they were pretty unsuccessful. I just wasn't in the "sit still" mood.

When Mom came in to get me this morning when I woke up, the sun was just rising. It was very pretty! Here's the view from my window.

Do you see the gel clings on my window? We put them up for a Valentines decoration!

Not a whole lot of news to share this week. I continue to love reading books, but my absolute favorite thing to do is play with Dad. We have so much fun together.

I like to color, too. Mom and Dad keep giving me all sorts of food and it depends on the day if I like it or not. I do enjoy fish sticks every now and then. I like pizza, too. Just like Mom, my favorite meal of the day is breakfast. Daddy cooked us breakfast this morning - yum!

Mom and Dad have decided to go to the UCONN Michigan game in September. Nana and Papa said they would babysit. Dad is real excited to go to the game. I wanted to go, but they said maybe next time.

Speaking of breakfast, here is a picture of last week that Dad took when I was enjoying a yummy breakfast before going to Robyn's. Robyn found out she is having a boy in June! We are so happy for her and excited to have another boy at daycare! My sissy won't be alone, though. There are a couple baby girls that will be going there, too.

Tiger Cubs at the Zoo

Greetings from Waukesha, Wisconsin! Do you know almost all of our snow is melted? It has been rainy this weekend, so the snow is going away pretty fast. I am hoping that means we are one step closer to spring - which means a lot more outdoor time! Mom and Dad assured me there is plenty of winter left and to not get my hopes up. I told them I am the parade - and they're the rain.

Here I am relaxing on Mom and Dad's bed - Dad was hogging the TV and watching football, and although I don't mind it for awhile, I was itching for some real TV (Mickey Mouse Club).

Mya, my sitter's daughter, had the flu earlier this week, so I stayed home with Mom on Monday. Dad stayed home with me Tuesday and guess what?!? He took me to the zoo!

I don't know if you can tell or not, but there are two tiger cubs in the background. It was so fun watching them play like Ace and Iso, but MUCH bigger of course. It will be a lot of fun to go to the zoo this summer and show my sissy all the animals. Before long I will be pushing her in the stroller all around just like Auntie Kady did with Uncle Mike and Uncle Pete.

On Friday my favorite sitter Emily came over so Mom and Dad could go to Papa's retirement party in Milwaukee. I had so much fun with Emily. Mom and Dad had a really nice time at Papa's party, too. Congratulations, again, Papa! See you in a couple weeks when Dad goes to Florida.

On Saturday, Nana and Papa stopped over. They showed us pictures from their cruise along Mexico. It looks like a fun way to vacation! They bought me cool swim trunks as a souvenir. Thank you SO much Nana and Papa. Mom and Dad said I'll get a lot of use out of those this summer when I get my baby pool.
